Welcome

Your own corner
of the Peaks.

Edgeview sits on the edge of the Peak District National Park — close enough to Bakewell, Chatsworth and some of England's finest walking country to fill every day, yet tucked away enough for the stars to feel genuinely close at night.

It sleeps eight comfortably without feeling cramped. Two generous double bedrooms for the grown-ups, a bunk room the kids will fight over, a kitchen made for proper cooking, and a dining table that fits everyone. Outside: a wood-fired pizza oven, a sunken fire pit, and a garden big enough to completely unwind in.

Book mid-week for our lowest rates, or claim a weekend and make it a proper occasion. Either way, booking direct means you get the best price and a real person on the other end.

Back garden with fire pit and outdoor seating — evenings at Edge View

The pizza oven that started it all.

There is something about wood-fired pizza outdoors — the smell of oak, the stretch of dough, kids arguing over toppings — that turns a normal evening into the story everyone retells for years. Our stone pizza oven reaches temperature in under an hour. Everything you need to fire it up is right there.

Wood-fired pizza oven

Stone base, reaches 400°C — proper Neapolitan crust in 90 seconds.

Sunken fire pit

Surrounded by comfortable chairs. Log supply included. Marshmallows optional but recommended.

Dark-sky stargazing

Low light pollution means the Milky Way is visible on clear nights. Worth staying up for.

Patio dining for 8

Large outdoor table and chairs on the private stone patio.

A garden children deserve.

Fully enclosed and generously sized, the garden has mature oak and rowan trees, a huge lawn for cricket and rounders, and enough space to feel genuinely free. Private — just birdsong and distant fell runners for company.

  • Large enclosed lawn — safe for young children
  • Mature trees for shade, dens and character
  • Private patio with seating for eight
  • Views across open moorland
  • Outdoor games and equipment included
Spacious enclosed garden — great for kids, games and outdoor dining

Guest Stories

In their own words.

"We've done Airbnb countless times and this was something else entirely. The pizza oven made our second evening — three families, eight kids, total chaos in the best way. We've already booked again for spring."

Sheffield · August 2025

"Four of us walked Stanage and Kinder in two days, came back to proper showers and a stunning kitchen to cook in. Midweek pricing was genuinely much better than anything we'd found elsewhere. This will be a yearly trip."

JM

James M.

Manchester · September 2025

"Took the grandkids for half-term. The bunk room meant we didn't hear a peep from them all evening. The garden kept them busy all day. Chatsworth was wonderful. We'd genuinely struggle to find a better-suited place."

PM

Patricia & Mike

Nottingham · October 2025

"Six cyclists, a trip planned in 48 hours because midweek pricing made it actually affordable. Rode Monsal, Tissington and the High Peak Trail in three days. Then someone suggested a second week. We said yes."
